Zoos are going online to find mates for their rare species. Talk about Conservation Effort! The program is a computer software called Studbooks which matches animals in captivity to potential mates online.
When I mean 'save the animals from humans,' I really do. Animals are taken advantage of everyday by greedy people who kill them for, most of the time, pointless causes, and it's starting to become a huge problem for our planet. If people don't start placing checks on themselves, we'll soon run out of animals to eat, and, more importantly, our ecosystem will crash.
What started out as a school project fueled by interest in the world's sixth mass extinction is now a hobby. This site is dedicated for those who want to learn more about the extinction cause and other interesting related issues, such as climate change.
I'm neither a scientist nor a journalist, just a person ready for change in our environment. Are you?
